“Fagor Milling Day”: Fagor Automation Italy begins the events dedicated to milling

Some seminars are being held in Italy to let machine users know of the advances that Fagor Automation has carried out in recent years in the milling industry. The first and very successful event was the “Fagor Milling Day”, it took place at the end of March, in the province of Brescia (Italy) and about a hundred of users attended it. The day began with the presentation of MONDRAGON Corporation, of Fagor Automation and its wide sales and service network.

The presentation went on with the project being developed at the Technological Center in Ivrea (Italy). Among its goals, the following deserve a special mention: Being close to the users’ needs by interviewing them to analyze and implement their demands (keeping their know-how). Having our own R&D center optimizes the speed and precision of our response to their needs. Proving, once again, the quality and reliability offered by Fagor Automation worldwide.

They also dealt with main milling related matters: 5-axis machines and high speed machining. In both cases, they showed that the Fagor CNC 8065M offers features that make it greater than other products from our competitors.

And last, the part the attendees were most eager for, they ran a practical demo of the Fagor CNC proving that suits the milling world perfectly thanks to its conversational programming, its new PROGTL3 language, the graphic editor of flat profiles, the ISO converter (translator) program, etc. .

The attendees were pleasantly surprised by the presentation and mentioned that they had seen a product superior to those of the competition in terms of power and machining cycles and with unmatched programming ease.
